Brecht Vanhoenacker<\/strong> studeerde af aan het KASK Gent<\/strong>, als meester in de audiovisuele kunsten. Hij werkt als\u00a0regisseur, monteur en cameraman.\u00a0Hij werkte voor onder meer CZAR Brussel en Amsterdam, Wanda Parijs, Mercurio Rome<\/strong> en wordt momenteel\u00a0vertegenwoordigd door Caviar Brussel<\/strong>.\u00a0Brecht heeft veel visual comedy gedraaid en werd bekroond met verschillende internationale prijzen<\/strong> waaronder\u00a0de Golden Award in New York Festival<\/strong> en de Silver Award op het Londen International awards<\/strong> voor zijn Pure\u00a0FM<\/strong> commercial.
\nNaast zijn commercieel werk maakt hij documentaires.
\nHij werkte de afgelopen 3 jaar ook mee aan Twee Zomers<\/strong>, een 6 delige psychologische thrillerreeks van Panenka<\/strong>,\u00a0geschreven door Tom Lenaerts en Paul Baeten<\/strong> voor Netflix en VRT.<\/strong> Samen met Tom Lenaerts<\/strong> stond hij in voor\u00a0de regie.
\nHij heeft recent\u00a0Rebels<\/strong> gerealiseerd in samenwerking met auteur en journaliste Ann Peuteman <\/strong>voor het cultuurhuis\u00a0Victoria Deluxe<\/strong>, Knack en Okra<\/strong>. Een documentaire over de 8 rebelse ouderen die zich verzetten tegen de\u00a0stereotiepe beeldvorming rond ouderen.
\nMomenteel werkt hij aan de documentaire Welcome to Eutopia<\/strong> in samenwerking met Nic Balthazar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/wr_vc_abouts_inner][wr_vc_abouts_inner]

\nHe also collaborated for the past 3 years on Two Summers<\/strong>, a 6-part psychological thriller series by Panenka<\/strong>,\u00a0written by Tom Lenaerts and Paul Baeten<\/strong> for Netflix and VRT<\/strong>. Together with Tom Lenaerts<\/strong>, he was in charge of\u00a0directing.
\nHe recently made Rebels<\/strong> in collaboration with author and journalist Ann Peuteman in association with Victoria\u00a0Deluxe, Knack and Okra<\/strong>. A documentary about the 8 rebellious elderly people who resist the stereotypical image\u00a0of the elderly.
